Dads Baby Massage & Nuture Workshop – Stamford Children’s Centre, Saturday 7th October

Calling new Dads! If you would like to be more involved with your beautiful bundle then come along to this class. So many Mums ask me to do sessions for Dads so here it is, on a Saturday in Stamford, uninterrupted bonding time for Dad and baby. Not just massage – candid chat, gaining confidence, sharing stories with other Dads and having some special one on one time together giving your partner a break.

Family Yoga – Stamford United Reformed Church Hall, Saturday 14th October

Diastasis Recti Workshop – Stamford Children’s Centre, Thursday 19th October

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn practices for re-knitting your core with deep, gentle yet highly effective yoga, breathwork and micro movements.

How do you know if you have a diastasis? You may see a ‘pooching’ or ‘doming’ of your stomach, especially when coming up from a lying position on your back. Sometimes you appear still a few months pregnant. As well as the aesthetic concerns, diastasis recti is associated with a weak core (and pelvic floor), leading to a lack of strength and stability in the entire pelvic region and midsection.

You can attend this workshop whether you are 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years or 3 decades post partum!

Birthlight Pregnancy Yoga – Stamford Children’s Centre, Tuesdays in November

My classes provide you with a safe haven for yourself and your baby so together you can explore your connection whilst pregnant. Make physical space in your body and spiritual space in your heart for your baby whether its your first or subsequent pregnancy.

Together with your fellow mamas to be, I support you throughout your pregnancy and teach you relaxation and breathing techniques, yoga, massage , movement, dance and sound to help prepare and empower you for labour.

Every class ends with a deep relaxation allowing the body to release tensions and the mind to become still. Both you and your baby are nourished and energy is renewed.

Baby Reflexology Workshop

Reflexology is, put simply, the theory that the organs and structure of the body is mirrored in the feet and by massaging specific points of the feet, we can affect the corresponding parts of the body.

This workshop can be attended as a one off or as an add on if you have done baby massage with me. We go deeper into the subject and look at those baby gripes that every parent would like to ‘fix’. Reflexology is not a solution but it gives you, as a parent, a variety of tools which may help you and your baby with:

  • Teething
  • Digestive issues (including ‘colic’ and constipation)
  • Releasing head and neck tension
  • Colds and snotty noses
  • Crying

As with all my classes you will learn breathing and relaxation techniques to help you manage your own parental stresses.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All course payment is taken in advance and is non-refundable if cancelled within 2 weeks of the start date. I will always try to accommodate you on another course. I need a minimum number to run each course so it will run depending on demand.

Full cost to be paid  when joining at any stage of the course.

If you miss any classes I will always try to accommodate you on another class that week but there will not be a refund for missed classes.
