When can I start pregnancy yoga?
It is recommended that you wait until you are at least 14 weeks pregnant before beginning pregnancy yoga. The first trimester vital life support systems are developing. I recommend this time as a time for rest conserving your energy for those first months.

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have had any serious problems during pregnancy, I may require a doctors note for attendance- please run this past your GP or midwife before starting the class and discuss with myself. Please don’t worry if you have never done yoga before, it’s a great place to start!

When can I start baby massage?
Any time from birth to crawling. Sometimes it is better to start earlier then you can get help and support.

When can I start baby yoga?
Any time from 4 months to walking (give or take a few weeks as this is just an age guide)

What is a block?
Depending on availability with space you start when you are ready!  The classes run in 5 week ‘blocks’. I only work during term time around my little family. Each class lasts an hour and a half (or an hour and a quarter in Children’s Centres). All classes must be taken within your own 5 week term, as I am unable to carry over any missed classes to the next term, but I will always try to accommodate you into another class if I have one running with spaces available.
I don’t usually offer a drop in option, as classes tend to run to capacity.

Where are the classes and what do I need to bring?
Classes are held at venues in Stamford, Market Deeping and Oakham Please bring a cushion and blanket for relaxation in yoga and just a cushion for you in baby massage. I’d love to provide all this but I just don’t have the space! If you have a group of you who want to be together please email me with the possibility of creating a new class.
On occasions I may need to cancel a course due to low numbers and in this case you will receive a refund or a credit when the course runs.

Anything else I need to know?

No, it’s a very relaxed informal setting – be excited! You’ll love meeting other new and expectant mums and will make good friends in these classes.
