CLOSING THE BONES & POST NATAL MASSAGE

Closing the Bones is a Mexican tradition to close the mother’s body/bones and encourage a new flow of ENERGY.

During the massage and ‘wrapping’ practice, pelvic bones are realigned, blood flow is increased supporting the immune system. It has a CLEANSING and relaxing effect on the body.

It is beneficial for women at any stage of life.

Typically, a session lasts approximately and hour and a half.

Babies can attend the session with the mother.  I work around the needs of the mother and baby, pausing to accommodate feeding and sleep.

I sought out the help of Julie as I thought I had never been quite right since the birth of my last child (7 years ago) and I had unexpected pain in my abdomen.
Doctors could find no cause of pain so I felt it was a muscular skeletal problem which does not show up on their tests. 
3 months of daily exercises have completely changed my abdomen. I’ve worked on Julie’s exercises and managed to also sort out a long standing shoulder problem while I was fixing my core.
